General Accountability

‍ ‍

Moytelexw (the Sts’ailes Development Corporation or SDC) is an Indigenous owned and operated corporation of Sts’ailes located in beautiful Harrison Mills.

‍ ‍

We are currently seeking individuals with strong customer service skills to fulfill the role of On- Call Store Clerk.

‍ ‍

As this position is on an on-call basis, shifts will only be scheduled as required.

‍ ‍

The On- Call Store Clerk reports directly to the Store Manager.

‍ ‍

Qualifications and Requirements

‍ ‍

1.    Completion of grade 10 or one to two years of work experience is required

‍ ‍

2.    Experience working in a retail environment is considered an asset

‍ ‍

3.    Must have good communication skills, listening skills, and a genuine interest in people and in helping others.

‍ ‍

4.    Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

‍ ‍

5.    Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

‍ ‍

6.    Strong work ethic and integrity.

‍ ‍

7.    Must be well organized and complete assigned duties promptly and accurately.

‍ ‍

8.    Self-motivated, resourceful and punctual.

‍ ‍

9.    Ability to be a team player and work independently with little or no supervision.

‍ ‍

10. Ability to adhere to confidentiality guidelines of all records, materials and communications concerning the operations of the Sts’ailes Store.

‍ ‍

11. Knowledge of Sts’ailes culture, traditions and history would be an asset.

‍ ‍

12. A valid Class 7 or Class 5 driver license is considered an asset

‍ ‍

Type of Position:          Part Time- This position is subject to a 3-month probationary period

‍ ‍
