General Accountability
The Sasq’ets Basket Cook is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Sasq’ets Basket kitchen. The position is responsible for assisting with the food quality and quantity for all café and catering services. This position will work to maintain superior client service while adhering to and supporting the Moytelexw (Sts’ailes Development Corporation) customer service vision.
The Sasq’ets Basket Cook reports directly to the Sasq’ets Basket Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1 to 2 years of work experience in customer service, hospitality, food service or closely related industry is preferred
3. Current, valid Food Safe is required
4. WHMIS, and First Aid certifications are considered assets.
5. Strong customer service, communication and teamwork skills are required.
6. Ability to manage time effectively and follow instructions/ procedures.
7. Basic computer skills such as the Microsoft Office suite of programs as well as Square is considered an asset
8. Excellent communication skills and willingness to work individually as well as part of a team
9. Ability to communicate effectively with customers
10. A desire to grow with the company.
11. Strong work ethic, integrity and punctuality
12. Valid class 5 BC driver’s license
